My name is Andrea. I am a graduate music student. On May 29th, 2010, I was planning on running my first marathon. This blog was to be a documentation of my training and anything else I find tumblrable. However, in about week 11 of training, when my long runs were up to 14 miles, I developed terrible shin splints in my left leg. Like, hurts to walk shin splints. Anyway, long story short, I ran the thing. I didn't finish, but I did make it to mile 16, and plan to run a full 26.2 someday soon. This blog is sometimes about running, more about cycling, but mainly about me...the things I like, obligatory funny shit, day to day life, my attempts at writing creatively, and...who the Hell knows. This is me. I make no apologies.

I’ve never been so close to giving up. I can’t seem to hold it together. I am so so close to achieving success in my life, yet in this crucial time, I’m struggling. I want to run away. I want to hide. I want to cry and scream.
But I won’t. Somehow, I’ll get through all of this.
